HI – Lo Competition 2012 Rules.

• Entry fee €5-00 per pair
• Low Handicap 0 to 12 Inclusive at start of the year
• High Handicap 13 to 28 at the start of the year
• Players must play off their present handicaps on the day of the match.
• All matches must be played off a minimum of 18 holes
• Players play off ½ of their combined total exact handicaps and give shots on the highest indices holes
  • e.g. a 6 and an 18 handicap play a 10 and 21 handicap; this equates to a combined 12 playing a combined 16. The latter have shots on Index 1, 2, 3 and 4. Should the match run into extra holes then shots apply at the same index holes as the original 18.
• All matches to be played by the dates specified; both pairings will be deleted unless it can be shown that one pairing made a genuine effort to get the match played without co-operation from the opposing pairing (it is appreciated that it can be difficult to find times mutually suitable and allowances will be made within reason to allow time for matches be played).
